What is involved?
Comfortably confine the pet to a chosen room, 15 minutes before the
appointment
A thorough health check and clinical exam with an “in the know” Pawrent.
If your pet has been uncomfortable/a little spicy in previous Vet visits we kindly ask, if possible, a
muzzle/halter/towel be kept on hand.
What if it is an emergency?
We are not an emergency service. However, we work closely with trusted emergency providers in our areas of operation. If you think your pet may be in an emergency, please find our partners here.
What are the signs of an emergency?
Difficulty urinating or straining with no urine passed
Difficulty defecating, especially if straining or in distress
Sudden collapse or inability to stand
Seizures or uncontrolled shaking
Severe bleeding or major wounds
Choking, gasping, or trouble breathing (labored or noisy breathing)
Persistent vomiting or diarrhea (especially with blood)
Swollen or painful abdomen
Heatstroke or overheating symptoms
Known ingestion of toxins or foreign objects
Unresponsive or extremely lethargic behavior
Eye injuries or sudden blindness
Severe pain (whimpering, guarding body parts, biting when touched)
What about fees?
Payment is required at the time of the visit. While we would be happy to give you an estimated cost prior to the visit, sometimes fees may vary from estimate once the pet has been examined. View Estimates

What are our hours of business?
Monday to Sunday from 8am to 8:30pm. Reduced cover on bank/public holidays.
